Outside of the Box

To be original and cunning as a fox,
We started thinking outside of the box.
We worked diligently, long and hard.
We gave much and got ragged and tired.
We sacrificed all to really get ahead.
Never sitting around or lying in bed.
When finally the project was done and complete,
We knew we had done it,, we couldnŐt be beat.
We brought it to council to give our review.
We crowded the chambers and filled every pew.
When it was finished we heard the loud jeers,
For it had been in the box for a thousand years.
